Pixel Bug Weekend- No more monkey- bars.

 

Hello everyone!! Welcome to  Sassy Mom's Pixel Bug. and here is my weekend highlight story!!!

Are they pretty in their pink spring jackets? Wow, I just love seeing both of them wearing the same outfit together..

These photos caught my eye while I flipped through pictures today. I remember how we enjoyed the cloudy afternoon while we were playing and roaming around the park.. Although the sky was partly cloudy my kids and I had so much..

My kids love spending some time playing at the park and once in a while my kids challenge me to a game, but there were times when I was not in a mood to play games, but I would always find myself saying yes anyway! Every time I say YES I would always see the nice smile on their face. It was the perfect smile that could brighten up my day.

Playing with Kei and Rio is always fun and interesting. I love watching them how they think and manage the game that we played.. On that day, Rio was the head of the game and she decided to play on the monkey-bars. The rules were, we will have to race using the monkey bars till the last obstacle course to win the challenge.. Oh boy! I said NO monkey bars ok!! That's the first thing that pop-up in my mind. My kids know that I am a big chicken at the playground, I always get worried that one of my kids or I will fall off the monkey bars. Although, I was not in the mood. I ended up saying OK lets play. As I placed both of my hands on the monkey bar. I saw both of them smiling at me, as I took my feet off the board where I was standing. I started to swing a little hard and pushed my body up to get the next monkey bar. I 'm heavy, I said. I can't pull myself up. I give up!! No mom Rio said. You better move your leg , hand and swing your body forward!!! As I tried my best to grab the next monkey bar, Kei came to my rescue and said. She can't do that. Look, she can't even move her hand to pull herself up, mama is too heavy for monkey bars. Ouch, next time no more monkey bars OK!!!

Hi everyone, welcome to Sassy Mom's Pixel Bug . How's your weekend guys? Oh well mine was weird!! Having a sick kid can be a bit stressful, in short! It wasn't the best week for me :(!! My daughter has not been feeling well since four days ago. We confirmed yesterday that my eight year old daughter has seasonal allergies or Allergic Rhinitis. This allergy is when your immune system overreacts to particles in the air that you breath. When your immune system attacks the particles in your body causing you symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing and coughing.

Kei's ENT doctor confirmed to us that her allergy is probably from the pollen from trees, dust mites, animal dander or mold...

Pixel Bug Weekend- I wish I could take the bugs away and suffer it myself.!

Welcome to Pixel Bug for my PBW this week is all about our freaky and stressful week in the hospital.

Quick post! My two girls are generally a healthy kids but last week both of them tested positive for influenza A and had a 39.2-40.3 °C ( 102.6-104.6 °F) fever with horrible cough during the night to the point that it takes them a second to catch a breath or inhale when they are done coughing. It is so hard for me to see my kids like that. It is just a horrible feeling not be able to help my kids to feel better. If I can only just put my hand on them to take away their pain and sickness gosh, I can do that every minute and every day. For me there is nothing worse than having a sick kids! It makes you feel so helpless. Grabe!!!

The days are really long and boring inside the hospital. As their mom I gave them something that they can focus on and laugh at to distract themselves from the situation they're in. It means we did something fun and special things while they are in the hospital room. We made some cute paper cut outs , drawing, coloring and playing their favorite games in PSP and gameboy.



Now!!! The long and freaky week is over my kids are home sweet home again and finally the bugs are gone hurray were healthier than ever!!! Thank God for the early Christmas present...

Pixel Bug Weekend - My dad.

My father is currently in the hospital because of mild chest pain he had last week. He has been in the hospital for three days now, and will be for probably another week. He had a BP of 175/120. And blood tests show he has a high cholesterol too. For some reason I choose this photo as my pixel bug entry for this week.

Yesterday, we spend our whole afternoon at the mall. My kids loves spending their weekends playing and shopping. Both of them are still at the age when they do need to much entertainment and attention, that's why to relieve some of their stress. I make sure that I always put them first. I spend any extra time with them. Going to a park or mall, watching Disney channel, reading books, cooking, anything just to make them happy.

Quick post!! Today we came home from a school field trip and found myself exhausted.. Even though were tired and it feels like our energy was drain lol. But omg we had so much fun!!! I really enjoyed the trip. My daughter and I had a great time together, It was fun that we shared this wonderful experience with our friends!!

Personally, I read all the time and I am really open to anything, so I am always looking for something new to read. After I read the two book series now I'm looking for another interesting books to read. Mitch Albon the author of Tuesday with Morrie is one of my favorite .

Twilight is another favorite book series of mine.

I wouldn't try to become the biggest fan of twilight lol but I really love the book so much and so do millions of people reading it, it's incredibly awesome you should read this books!! I already watched the movie but there is so much content in the book that the movie is missing, the film is amazing but obviously they didn't include all the little details from the book but it doesn't mean I don't like the movie at all.

The best thing about being a Filipino is every time that we are in a high crisis we are fighters and survivors, we don't easily give up even in our most tragic moments. This picture shows the true meaning of Bayanihan is still in each one of us...

I dunno what to say, I feel so sad after I watched the news Saturday night. Very traumatic and heartbreaking news for me. I know that all of us is still in shock after what the typhoon ondoy left us nothing but pain and terrible situation. This is one of the worst flooding incident in northern Luzon that left 75 people dead and nearly 300,000 affected.
