Mommy Moments- Motherhood.

mommy moments

Motherhood has completely changed me. The most completely and humbling experience that I've ever had and my life long journey that never ends. Motherhood is one of the most important jobs in the world and one of the best yet toughest learning experience that I've gone through. I'm very much happy and proud to be a mother... ( I can't imagine my life not being one).

~Kei and Rio you are my Life, my Pride and my Blessing. I love you with all my life~

My daughters have a tremendous impact in my life. They are my pride and joy. There truly is nothing I can say to capture what motherhood means to me but all I know is when they were born into this world was the best thing I have ever done in my life !!

Share your mommy journey here in  Mommy Moments Enjoy your weekend guys!!

Food Trip Friday-Homemade Beef Tongkatsu.

Thank God it's Friday and welcome to Food Trip Friday and here's my FTF for today =)

~Homemade Beef Tongkatsu~

Tonkatsu usually served with rice, miso soup and tsukemono in the style of washoku (traditional Japanese food). Recently, some establishments have taken to serving tonkatsu with the more traditionally Japanese ponzu and grated daikon instead of tonkatsu sauce.

Happy weekend =)

The father of the bride.

Quick Post ! Hubby was busy flipping through channels today and he came across this variety show that seems to be interesting, it’s about wedding speeches. The two of us we're laughing while watching it because the show was really HILARIOUS. Gosh, from the videos we watched the father of the bride seemed to be the most stressed, nervous and had teary eyes. Actually the six wedding videos were very funny “thumbs up”. After watching it I was curious about these things, so I asked my husband what if he is the father of the bride. How does he feel if one of our daughters is getting married? I told him for sure he will do the same. He will probably lose he’s words during the speech or for sure he will cry the entire wedding ceremony lol. He answered YES. It is hard to think of it right now because I can’t deny the fact that I will cry like a baby and my body will be shaking like a leaf and then(he laughs) Well the truth is I remember your dad during our wedding just think about our wedding. I will be like him.

~ My wedding day ~

My dad is not an emotional type of guy, but I guess I was wrong, the strong man I’ve known for years got emotional and nervous too. I remember when we were walking down the aisle. My dad was cool and I was the one who’s getting really nervous and stressed out and honestly, I just wanted the wedding to be over because I was so nervous. So my dad was trying to make me feel better. He told me to smile and don’t cry because this is my big day don’t get nervous anak, in my surprise as I look at my dad’s eyes I saw him in he’s hilarious “tears of joy” (that’s what he called it) I just busted out laughing while looking at him! Funny because he keeps on telling me don’t cry anak at your own wedding but the thing was he’s the one who's crying. Well, I remember somewhere in the middle of me and hub’s vows, my dad and mom started to cry, which of course, made me cry. After the wedding my parents both came to our hotel room to congratulate us. Then my dad told me he accepted the reality that he needs to "give me away" then he started crying again. Now as I end this post I guess it is proven that the father of the bride is the most nervous, an emotional wreck during her daughter’s wedding day. Have fun =)

I'm taking my time off from blogging for a week or two.

I had a very busy day for the past few weeks and I’m preparing some papers/documents for my mom. We're planning to invite her for vacation next month. Not only that I am also working on household chores, PTA activities, and other stuff that I feel like I'm a superwoman already whew! To the point that I wished time could take me as far as 24 hours. So I’ve decided I need a break!! I thought that this is the right time for me to take my time off from blogging for a week or two. I feel like with so many things to do I have a little time to do them. It is hard that I need to take my time off, especially because I dearly love this blog !!! I love my blog because I've learned a lot of things, I’ve been exposed to a lot of great resources that I would treasure and have otherwise missed. I am thankful for the great opportunities like I’ve made connections with people that have lasted for years, people I haven’t shaken hands or talked with face to face, but I would consider my friends.. To all my friends and readers, thank you for your love and understanding. I’ll be back soon, promise…

                                                                                                                          Lots of love Jac.

The end of April through around May 5th is called GOLDEN WEEK (National Holiday law). Many Japanese take paid time off on the intervening work days, but some companies also close down completely and give their employees time off.
