Hello guys!!! Welcome to Food Trip Friday and here is my Food for today :) My all time favorite Torotama udon!!

Are you aware of identity theft?

Quick post!! Are you aware about the danger and frivolity of social networking websites? I'm telling you guys that we must be careful and be discreet about who we allow as a friend in any social networking web sites. My advice is don't take it for granted. This could become a serious threat if the poser starts doing things that can damage your identity and the worst is if your poser starts doing criminal things already. I'm annoyed, scared and distracted when I found out about this strange account on friendster!! My sister has a poser account!!! Yes! Someone made that account and used her photos and identity. Sad to say she even uses my kids (walang patawad grabe) grrrrr!! It pisses me off na..

Few weeks ago I had a chance to visit that account and I was surprised after I saw "a lot" of my kids' photos. My only concern is my kids and as a mom. I won't let that person harm or use my kids in their own insanity!!! Whoever you are, you should stop..

Pixel Bug Weekend-Medicine

Hi everyone, welcome to Sassy Mom's Pixel Bug . How's your weekend guys? Oh well mine was weird!! Having a sick kid can be a bit stressful, in short! It wasn't the best week for me :(!! My daughter has not been feeling well since four days ago. We confirmed yesterday that my eight year old daughter has seasonal allergies or Allergic Rhinitis. This allergy is when your immune system overreacts to particles in the air that you breath. When your immune system attacks the particles in your body causing you symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing and coughing.

Kei's ENT doctor confirmed to us that her allergy is probably from the pollen from trees, dust mites, animal dander or mold...

~Here are the medicines for Kei's allergy~

I hope you had a blissful weekend folks! Have a great week =) Godspeed!!

Mommy Moments- Valentine's Day.

mommy moments

Here in Japan people celebrate Valentine's day too. However a little different! Here in Japan,Valentine's day is when women are expected to participate in Girichoco (Obligatory Chocolate). They not only give chocolate to their love ones, but also to the men they associate with, like bosses, co-workers, friends... etc.
On White day ( March 14) is when men reciprocate to women for the candies they received. Guys are supposed to return gifts (usually more extravagant than what they received).

~From Kei and Rio~

Hubby got a 2 box of chocolates from Kei and Rio. I think these chocolates are great gifts that comes from the heart.

Ash Wednesday.

Photobucket

Remember, O man, that you are dust, and unto dust you shall return.
{Genesis 3:19}

Ash Wednesday is the first day of the penitential season of Lent, in which ashes are placed on the head or forehead of the faithful. It is a fast day and usually falls in February. In 2010, Ash Wednesday falls on February 17 churchyear.net.
Ash Wednesday derives its name from the practice of placing ashes on the foreheads of adherents as a sign of repentance. The ashes used are typically gathered after the Palm Crosses from the previous year's Palm Sunday are burned. In the liturgical practice of some churches, the ashes are mixed with the Oil of the Catechumens (one of the sacred oils used to anoint those about to be baptized), though some churches use ordinary oil. This paste is used by the minister who presides at the service to make the sign of the cross, first upon his or her own forehead and then on those of congregants. The minister administering ashes recites the words: "Remember (O man) that you are dust, and to dust you shall return", or "Repent, and believe the Gospel."

Have a blessed Wednesday to all =)

Food Trip Friday-Yakiniku

Hello everyone and welcome to Food trip Friday. Here's my food entry for today =)

~YAKINIKU. Grilled meat~

Yakiniku is a Japanese term, which refers to grilled meat dishes. In a yakiniku restaurant, diners order several types of prepared raw ingredients (either individually or as a set) which are brought to the table. The ingredients are cooked by the diners on a grill built into the table throughout the duration of the meal, several pieces at a time. The ingredients are then dipped in sauces known as tare before being eaten.

Bad breath Go Away!!

Photobucket

Here are the common questions; Are breath strips any better at eliminating bad breath than mints, gum or mouthwash?

None of these things will cure chronic halitosis, but they'll all mask coffee breath, for example, says the dentist. The strips work a bit better than mints and gum because they contain oils that break down bad breath. They're also sugar-free. (Mouthwash is good, too, but less portable.) Stop at using five or six strips a day because the strips can kill good bacteria, which promotes infection.

~RD~

How to keep bad breath away? Bad breath will cause big problems when you want to be really close to someone. Mints and gum will cover up bad breath for a short time but they do not cure bad breath because they do not get rid of the cause of bad breath. Remember that Dental Hygiene is very important. Cavities can actually create a bad smell. So here are some tips to say bye~bye to bad breath. * Eat healthy food and drink 6 to 8 glasses of water everyday. * Brush your teeth and make sure to brush or scrape your tongue regularly. Brush the space between the tooth and the gum precisely (pockets may be as deep as 9-10mm). Brushing can clean 4-5 mm. When your dentist tells you the pockets are deeper follow a strict cleaning instruction from the dental hygienist. * Flossing will do wonders. Try flossing between the teeth and do it everyday, it will get rid of all the junk that gets stuck in your teeth. * Visit your dentist every 3 to 6 months.

Wow I'm 30 =)

Yesterday was my birthday and I'm officially 30 years old woot~woot. Today as I look at the mirror, I see the three lines (wrinkles) in my forehead and I had one gray hair, plucked this morning. Oh well somethings tell me that I'm not getting any younger. Anyway! About yesterday =) I celebrated my special day with my family. We had fun as in super fun~fun night. I'm glad that I had a whole bunch of birthday moments to tell hahahah!!!

My thoughts yesterday morning were not based on the fact of what is happening for today because for me, birthdays still roll around once a year so I should make the best out of it. I was looking at the mirror just wondering now that I'm 30 what are the other things I need to accomplish? I always tell everyone how happy and blessed I am to have my family who loves me, enough friends to give me comfort, enough wealth to meet my needs and most of all I wake up each day to find that love still colors my world through people who truly care and love me unconditionally. I shouldn't ask for more..

Ok! No more melodramatic ! Let's talk about my birthday celebration!!!

First was we went to shidax family karaoke. February 6!

We had so much fun. I almost forgot that I had a 4 glasses of Tequila sunshine and 5 kahlua milk vodka... hahah whew! I felt like Manny Paquiao knock me out that night hahaha...

We ate out for dinner in Kaeun Yakinuku restaurant yesterday February 7.

Birthday cake

Today. I feel more blessed and loved by my friends. I checked my Facebook account and I'm so glad that my friends remembered me.. I'm so happy!!! To all my friends, thank you so much for the love. I really do appreciate it =) I love you all. Hugs..

Mommy Moments-Love Language =)

mommy moments

Hello everyone, welcome to Mommy Moments and our theme for today is all about Love Language. For me the most important part of being a parent is to make sure that our kids feel how much we love them. I couldn't think of just one thing me and hub's do to show how much we love our kids. A hug, kiss, cuddle and saying I LOVE YOU to each other regularly are our simple ways to show our love to our children .

~Family day~

Quality time. It's not just spending more time but making the time spent count.. For me, having quality time is important. All the gifts in the world can't replace the time I spend with my kids.

Our quality time is usually spent here in our living room. I interact with my kids all day. We do school work together and if my girls are in the mood they help me around the house. We play games.I watch their favorite cartoons with them and we have a family movie at least once a month.

~Homework~

~Outdoor fun~

My heart melts when I see the smile on their face. Seeing the cute front teeth when they smile at me and say I love you mum.
