food trip Friday- creme caramel (leche flan)

Leche flan is a Filipino dessert that I grow up on. In the Philippines flan is known as Leche Flan—literally milk flan—a heavier version of the Spanish flan made with more egg yolks. Leche Flan is usually steamed over an open flame or stove top, although rarely it can also be seen baked. Leche Flan is a staple in all celebratory feasts to the point where it is almost mandatory.

Sweet naman ng Leche Flan mo, as in literally and theoretically sweet! Creme Caramel ba ang english terms niyan, dito kasi tawag nila eh Egg Custard, but whatever they call it, it's always my favorite dessert!
