Mommy Moments- Encounter with pets or animals

mommy moments

This picture I took last year during Rio's school field trip at Safari park.

Spending at least 45 minutes inside the bus gives the children a chance to see a bit more of the zoo. I am amaze because the zoo provided an amazing tour facilities, good security and the place is safe for everybody.

Rio was too busy counting the deers!

Inside the Safari Bus.

We decided to ride in safari bus because Rio wanted to feed those animals and she's too excited at first, but when she saw how big the lion was. That's the time she cried and she told me that she wanted to go home, because she didn't expect to see the lions so close enough that she almost felt that it will grab her hand while feeding that it. I told her that there's nothing to worry about because I will help her to use the long tongs so that she can feed the bears and lions.
So far this is one of the best encounter we had with wild animals and thank God they are too behave while were there!!!

Join us here in Mommy Moments. Have a blessed Friday to all!!!

The pics of healthy giraffe, lion, tiger and deer got me thinking. Bakit healthy-looking sila? Ah, oo nga pala they're living in Japan where the climate suits them. Dito kasi sa atin so far para malnourished-looking ang mga animals sa zoo. Your kids must have really enjoyed the field trip. :-)

We also had the chance to ride a safari bus in Zoobic Safari. Our steel caged jeepney was safe from the tigers but it was still scary.

Here's my mommy moments entry for the week: http://www.the24hourmommy.com/2009/07/mommy-moments-encounter-with-pets-or.html

sometimes i think safaris are for big kids, like interested adults like us heheh... it's a good introduction to the might and glamour that animals shed on our lives. happy friday, mommy Jac!

Yeah sometimes, you really have to be careful when going to the zoo that our kids won't be traumatized. You did a good job in explaining, Jac! ;)

I would love to go on a Safari Adventure with the family... that is when Sam is bigger and braver. Sure would love to see the lions and tigers and elephants and giraffes in their natural environment.

Buti di nag freak out mga kids mo, considering maliit pa cla. Great job at explaining how the Safari is like Mommy!

btw, paki update ng blog URL ko ha? it is now http://www.kikamzpera.com/. thanks! hugs!

I'm glad you had a good time at the zoo! Logan loves the zoo - I can't wait to take him to ours again soon. I don't blame Rio for getting scared - animals can be unpredictable. So, good job Rio, for feeding the bears and lions!!!
