As of this week I only spend four to five hours in bed each night, I become exhausted. I was irritable during the day it was difficult to concentrate. I am afraid I wasted everything and I hadn't accomplish my obligation these past few days. Oh life! I feel so slow and weak....
I love to try some sleeping pills so that I could sleep better and calm my anxiety but hubby won't allow me to take those over the counter antidepressant medicine, hubby told me that taking those pills can only create problems and I might experience unpleasant dreams or morning fogginess. Gee! I am afraid I'd kill my household duties by forgetting the important things and not doing enough -best for my family. It hurts!!!

aaww...that's depressing...baka sobrang pagod ka lang,Mommy Jac--you may need to take a rest or just have time to go out with some of your friends. Pahinga ka kahit konti kahit na di mo muna magawa ang household duties mo--your husband will understand that.

other than the tips in my blog entry, try relaxing and clearing your thoughts before going to bed. matagal din ako makatulog... every night. pero there are times that i really try to not think of anything, concentrate on my breathing and trying to relax. before you know it, tulog na :)
try chamomile tea before bedtym
I'm sorry you are having to deal with that :( It is so hard when you have a million things to do but no energy to do them. It is so easy for mothers to be overworked. I tried the pills for 3 days in March but had horrible side effects, so your husband might be right. Maybe you need a break - like a day all by yourself to get rejuvinated. I did that and it really helped - it was surprising that was all I needed. Hugs to you - I hope it gets better soon!!!

That is so depressing and annoying when we feel like that. hope you are okay now sis, maybe you need some rest or vacation to unwind. I also feel that, and with my pregnancy is the main reason why I don't get much sleep, what I did is even if I'm having hard time falling asleep, I just close my eyes, eventually i fell asleep, don't know how long. Atleast it relax your mind and eyes if they are shut. Your hubby is right beware taking antidepressant it might create new probs sis. Hope you feel well soon.

Jac, I hope this helps, try mo isulat mga gagawin mo for the day then the entire week. Para may schedule ka to follow at first. Tapos maglagay ka ng enough time to relax before sleeping. Drink hot tea na walang caffeine. Syempre it's best to tell your hubby that you need his support... Take care now.

I think drinking milk and freeing your mind from your tasks and errands to do, help. I also have that problem until now. I only have 3-4 hours of sleep almost every night, and I don't even take afternooon nap. Sobrang deprived na yata ako sa sleep. Anyway, don't take sleeping pills na, bka ma-adik ka lang :)

Thanks Beth,I thought I'm alone in this kind of sleeping problems.I heard that sleeping pills can cause addiction that's why hubby won't allow me to take those medicines.Thanks a lot =)
