I was pregnant with my second child and my eldest daughter was one and a half years old at that time. I knew that things will change simply because she had no idea how much or" little " this whole thing will impact in her life, or what adding a baby to our house really means. At first, hubby and I was so worried that she will probably get jealous if I need to focus on her newborn sister. We all know that dealing with jealousy is not an easy one.
Before Rio was born I knew that Kei was prepared and excited that she'll be the big sister in the family. I try my best to get her involved in my prenatal appointments, she was there during my ultrasounds and fetal doppler sessions all the time.
I gave my eldest daughter important jobs when her lil sister was born and I made her feel that she had an important role in the family.
Rio is so blesses to have a sweet and loving sister like Kei.

i like the picture of ate kei chatting with baby rio. you're lucky because you have sweet and caring children. happy mm!
Suuuuupppper cute ng last picture :-)
that is the best way to prepare the siblings i guess: make her feel important and and ATE already.
A lot of moms have mentioned getting the older sibling to be involved with the new baby, to avoid jealousy. Its one lesson I wish I could have :) The last pic is so cute! Happy MM!
I like the last picture so sweet. happy MM! Mine is up.
Mine is here
Nice pictures. Isn't it wonderful to have children? It's a blessing!
Kei is a sweet, loving sissy to Rio, she takes care of her. and she handled it really well.
wow i think maganda ang yarikatta nyo kaya parang walang naging bad reaction si kei kasi all the time she was there participating... thanks for this, nagka-idea ako if ever.. siguro nga dapat ganun para di mabigla..
So cute ng pag uusap nila *giggles*. You and your hubby has done so well in raising your two daughter's Jac. At first talaga di maiiwasang mag worry with how your firstborn child reacts to a new baby in the family but nagiging ok din ang lahat as the day goes.
even when they were young, they look sweet and really loving towards each other no? :D thanks for sharing your pictures this week...
see you next week!
