Congratulations Rio on your Graduation!

My dearest Rio,

Who would have thought that you’re now officially a Senior Highschool student 👩‍🎓 wow! Congratulations my sweetie, words are not enough to describe how proud I am of you. You made it anak! All the hard work pays off. But first I want you to remember these pieces of advice. Part of me wants to think you are too smart and too good to fall into making bad decisions, succumbing to peer pressure, etc... However, there is another part of me that refuses to be a naive parent who is blind to the truth. As your mom, I want to impart the value of education and choosing the right people to be in your life ...
Rio sweetie we are here for you always anak! To guide you every step of the way. To protect you and most of all to support you. I love my little one. I pray to the Lord for his guidance and protection and may God grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. Good luck anak. I am always here for you no matter what I love you.

 Mom.

Let's celebrate! Congratulations on your Graduation day.

A letter to my daughter on her Graduation day.

Congratulations Kei!

Dear Keina,

First of all congratulations on your graduation. I know you're excited about starting middle school. You know that I am excited too right, but just give me at least a day to digest and accept the fact that you're not a baby anymore. Promise I won't get too nostalgic and do all the whole misty-eyed.

It feels like yesterday when you were my newborn baby, I cried at how beautiful you were. I made a promise to you then that I would always be there for you, that I would do anything to protect you and that I would be the best mom for you. That day when I first held you in my arms. I knew deep in my heart that it was love at first sight.

As days and months passed, you crawled, walked and talked. I still remember your first word was "dada", did you know that your papa was so thrilled when he heard that! But you know anak, I initially thought that it would be "mama" or "mum mum" lol. Ok then you had your first steps, your first favorite disney character is winnie the pooh and your favorite colors are yellow, red and pink.

And we went off to kindergarten... I remember how excited you were when we enrolled you in kindergarten. From there you met your best friend. When you were in kindergarten you stunned all of us with your newfound interest in piano. We are so impressed by how quickly you learned to play the instrument, that's why at the age of four your Papa and I decided to pursue your interest in playing the piano. I think the part that impressed me the most was seeing you in a long dress on stage watching you at your first piano recital with teacher Suzuki. It was a very successful event and you made me so proud of you. I also remember your first day in elementary school vividly. In grade three you made a beautiful sketch of a dress. I thought it was just a hobby at first, but now you want it to be a career in the future. I promise that I will support you in every step of the way :)

Mom's advice. Now that you're entering high school, I want to impart the value of education and the importance of choosing your "friends" wisely. Always be yourself as I told you so and remember that in every journey or career path you'll choose or pursue in the future. I'll be here for you to guide and protect you. ( sniff ) Don't worry I'll stop crying eventually this is what you called tears of pride and joy!

Keina, sweetheart, be my baby a little bit longer. I want to tell you to freeze! Pause or hold right there you are growing up so fast. Look at you now! My little baby is growing up to be a young beautiful lady. Again my sunshine, congratulations!

May our dear Lord continue to bless and guide you, don't forget to Pray and Good luck on fulfilling your dreams sweetheart. As long as you are doing the right thing and doing it with love and passion just go for it! Go confidently in the direction of your dreams and work hard for it! In time you will achieve any goal your heart's desires. Just dream, believe in yourself and pray ...

~ Delight yourself in the LORD,

and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 37:4 ~

Keina, I Love you beyond words could ever describe. I will always be your number one fan, a cheerleader, your bodyguard, cook, driver, best friend, superwoman and your forever Mom!

卒業おめでとうございます中学校にいっても頑張ってください。

Congratulations Rio ( Kindergarten Graduation day )

congratulation Pictures, Images and Photos
How time flies, my daughter Rio just graduated from kindergarten a week ago. A simple graduation ceremony and lovely speech from Rio and other students make me get teary eyed. Thinking of her achievements and how she works harder, wow that's heaven for me. She did a great job and we're so proud of her. Now she's on her way to the next school and hopefully it will be fun for her. Again to my precious baby "RIO" I love you and thank you for making us proud "CONGRATULATIONS"

My kids Piano Recital 2010

Last Friday March 26 all the kids from teacher Suzuki's class had their piano recital. They are so adorable watching them playing on stage was a great experience for me. I'm glad that my children are part of this wonderful event. I adore my kids and there's nothing that fills my heart with more joy listening and watching them on stage. I'm a proud mom!!!

My Kids got really nervous about their recital, I told them if they feel anxious and lil scared remember that there's an angel in the audience ready to cheer them on"and that is me wink!!!

Kei and Rio's dresses are formal. I decided to conduct a "dress rehearsal" a month before the recital. Both of them are dressed in black. My lil princess Rio's dress is from my eldest daughter. It is the same dress worn last year but I made it a lil different by putting a little effort into shoes and coat. Hahaha it ends up a little different from last year's dress though, I hope so!!!

To teacher Suzuki and to all the students Congratulations!!!!

welcoming 2010 :D

I'm back woohoo :D and I'm so happy that finally I'm starting to do the things that I love like watching my favorite shows on TFC ( The Filipino channel) and blogging wink! It's been a week guys and I missed a lot of things already. I didn't have a chance to drop some lines on your page, I wish I had time to read your post and I didn't post my MM and FTF memes last week.. Sad :(

OK! Where have I been? Well, my family has been celebrating New Year's Eve with my sister in law's house . We've all gathered in her house to celebrate the new year in a traditional Japanese way. As always, there was plenty of food on the table. My Mother in law made the delicious kinpira gobo, sukiyaki and ozoni. The evening was not complete without games and watching the TV specials.

I made chicken macaroni for our dessert.

Usually the evening was not without time spent in the living room pouring over photo albums. The gentlemen always got time to watch the marathon and got into discussions about life and politics. We rounded out the evening with the live singing and dancing performance of my two pretty girls. It happens to be the star of that night :D

New Year's Eve is a time to relax and enjoy the start of a bright and promising new year. A new beginning with my family and friends. It was a great start to our year and as always. I'm looking forward to a healthy, prosperous and happy 2010...

Happy New Year ;D
